St. Edmund’s Elementary strives to be a place is a community for students and families alike. Our extra-curricular programs give students a chance to socialize outside the classroom, and form deeper friendships. Typically, our students involve themselves in many of the activities offered, and end up spending as much time as they can at school.
Likewise, parents have plenty of opportunities to participate in school life. Through the various parent jobs around the school, to the class events, it does not take long for each parent in your child’s class to become a familiar face. It is as much a joy to see friendships among parents form as it is to see them forming among students.

Andrew and Elizabeth Goh are the parents of twins Alexander and Rebecca (now in Grade 2). The family came to the school in 2013 when the twins entered Kindergarten.
THE FERGUSON FAMILY
Jaime and Marta Ferguson are long time parishioners of St. Edmund’s Church. Marta can be seen at various parish events. Today, Miles is in Grade 2 and Erica is in Grade 1. Also, Marta is the treasurer of the Parish Education Committee.
THE WANG FAMILY
Haiying and Susan Wang started at the school in 2009 when Abraham began in Kindergarten. Now, Abraham is in Grade 6 and his little sister Sophie is in Grade 3. Mr. Wang’s re-telling the story of the school principal ending up in the dunk tank is a good one – have a listen!
